The 3 finger Glove

I was challenged to enter into a Arts and Science Competition by a friend several years ago. In my search to find an item to research i came across an unusual object. It was a 3 fingered glove unusual becouse it appear's in some Illuminations a few paintings and what some called a Stone carving and then it was gone.

I began to search out everything i could find out about the Glove when it first appeared and any evidence of it in history. I came across a picture of a Stone Carving of this glove and set out to find where is was.  I eventually came across a blog that said it was from a church in France called st john the Baptist. I searched out this church and found it in Southern France.
This is the Church and what is actually a wood sculpture. It Saint Jean de Maurienne Cathedral this church is dated to the 15th century and the carving is on the misericodia.

I was also found a quote in the same blog that talked about a quote from an unknown article that said this ''ín a 15th century deposit of a ditch a leather glove was found. Remarkable in the fact that it only has 3 fingers. One for the Thumb and 2 for the other fingers. It was found in the City of Aalst in Belguim.
There was no other references to where this was found

I was eventually able to locate this article in a 2004 article on a web site called Archeonet.be this was a very old and not updated. But, it showed the actual quote that i had previous found. I did find the new updated web page that contained the article.  This is the picture that the Web host had and sent to me.

I went on to win the tourney and i proved to myself that i could do it. Now onto something else!
